The secretariat of the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Southern Stream First Division (SSFD) league, announced that the kickoff times for Saturday's fixtures at J. Stephanus Stadium in Keetmanshoop have been shifted forward by an hour.

This is done to allow sufficient time for the //Kharas Regional Athletics Championship taking place at the stadium to conclude at approximately 14:00 so that the field of play can be properly prepared for football activities before it is handed over.

“The amendments were made to address logistical considerations, including travelling distances and venue availability, while ensuring the safe and fair continuation of the league competition. The league expects the full cooperation of all clubs in adhering to the confirmed programme," said Christofine Neumbo-Kakuua, the vice chairlady of the SSFD.

She further highlighted, “The usual 30 minute warm-up on the field between matches will not be possible and teams are advised to utilize the space behind the goal lists or other designated areas for their warm-up activities.”

The general coordinator and designated match officials will provide direction and guidance to teams in order to ensure the orderly and uninterrupted flow of the match programme.
