Hobby-X returns to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit for its 2026 edition, uniting a vibrant community of makers, artists, and hobby enthusiasts for four days (30 April to 3 May 2026) of creativity, learning, and hands-on discovery.
For 28 years, this event has celebrated creativity in all its forms—bringing together passionate creators and curious newcomers alike. This year’s theme, The Great Escape, invites you to Create your Escape, Discover your Passion, and enjoy Freedom Without Limits, says Show Director, Marlene Bosch.
Hobby-X 2026 introduces an exciting new dimension with the integration of the globally renowned Creativeworld Trends 2026. Fresh from their debut in Frankfurt, these curated trend worlds—modern romantics, new rebels, and cool classics—are seamlessly woven into the show, offering visitors real-world inspiration through materials, techniques, and innovative applications.
Visitors can explore a record-breaking 100+ hands-on workshops, including the newly introduced pasta and pastry-making sessions, alongside the Great PNA Create Workshops, designed to help you refine your skills or try something entirely new.
Adding to the excitement is the launch of the all-new Pit Lane—a dynamic, interactive zone dedicated to action-driven hobbies and immersive experiences. From pop-culture, remote-controlled cars and woodworking to gaming simulators, car detailing, classic cars, and a dedicated kids’ zone, it’s a space designed for exploration and play.
