From 2 to 4 September, the Creative, Sport and Tourism (CST) Expo will bring representatives from Namibia’s creative industries, sport and tourism sectors together at the Hage Geingob Stadium.

The programme begins a day earlier, on 1 September, with the CST Awards at the National Theatre of Namibia. During the expo, tourism operators will showcase their services alongside participants from music, fashion, art and sport.

The programme also includes workshops and panel discussions on topics such as tourism marketing, sports development and storytelling. Eva-Rakel Johannes of the N/a’an ku sê Group will speak about how storytelling and partnerships can help promote Namibia. Other speakers include Monica Geingos, Deputy Education Minister Dino Ballotti and author Frans Cronje.

Entertainment will also form part of the programme, with South African DJ Oscar Mbo and Namibian musicians Gazza and Cleyton M announced as headline acts. The expo is also intended to encourage greater exchange and possible collaboration between the three sectors.
